We love the environment and hate unnecessary waste, so we’ve designed our packaging with both the product and the environment in mind.

Accordingly, our Elixir's are housed in recyclable/reusable amber glass bottles, fitted with labels made with recyclable materials, and topped with serum pump caps (Sample sizes are topped with rubber eye dropper caps).

Why?

Ultra-violet light, oxygen and heat can decrease the effective life of many natural oils and speed up rancidity. To avoid deterioration and to prolong the effective life of our products, we designed our packaging to keep exposure to UV light, oxygen and heat at a minimum.

Some companies choose to house their oils in plastic containers. However, the strength of oils, mixed with UV light and heat can cause these plastic containers to break down and leach into their products over time. To avoid deterioration, leaching, and exposure to UV light we have chosen to use recyclable/reusable amber glass bottles.

As much as we love the idea of using eye droppers to apply our Elixirs, each time the container is opened you introduce a fresh supply of oxygen to the product. Oxygen speeds up oxidation and rancidity of natural oils. To prevent this, and to deliver a consistent dose each time, we’ve chosen to fit our full size bottles with serum pump caps.

Lastly, to avoid unnecessary waste we have also chosen not to package our Elixirs in external boxes. Instead, the necessary product information you may require can be found directly on the label or on this website.
