Despite our efforts with our products and packaging, we realise that we can't maintain and support this beautiful planet all on our own.
Accordingly, we’ve implemented our Giving Back program whereby we donate a portion of sales proceeds, and/or our time, to support charities and initiatives within our local and global communities that are aligned with our goals and values.
Our Giving Back program focuses on 3 pillars of support:
The Planet
A healthy planet is vital for our own survival. But plastic pollution & unsustainable farming practices are decimating landscapes, oceans & wildlife.
To help change this, we’re supporting those who inspire participation through education, and we particularly love the work local charities Take3 and Australian Seabird Rescue are doing in this regard.
We also source ingredients & supplies developed from sustainable resources as much as possible.
Community Connect
Communities are critical for us to thrive and foster many elements that are crucial to our mental health.
This pillar is all about supporting our community, and those who promote good mental health, to help them best recover from crises and disasters.
Here, especially in light of the recent floods in Northern NSW, it's currently GIVIT, Flood Recovery 2022, and the Waves of Wellness charities that have our attention and support.
We've also personally been volunteering on the ground, as well as donating essential supplies, to aid the recovery of our local flood affected communities.
Empowering Women In Business
Female small-business owners love what they do and play an important role in supporting & growing their local communities by generating economic activity, encouraging connection, and creating jobs.
Through this pillar we aim to help more women create and lead successful businesses & co-operatives.
Currently we provide one-on-one mentoring services to local female small-business owners, and purchase ingredients produced by women led co-operatives in developing nations - like our Moroccan Argan oil.
